Checking out the newly opened Sandalo! They offer quite a good variety of ala carte options, i.e. Bento sets, noodles, snacks and steamboat.

The steamboat has 6 soups to choose from. Selected the burdock soup and my favorite cheesy soup! Others include Tom Yam, seaweed, herbal and yam salted vegetable soups.

Ordered a single portion at RM26, with a generous serving of two soups. The ingredients are presented like a bouquet of pretty flowers, with generous portions of mushrooms, vegetables, pumpkin, and "meat balls".

5 unique condiments are available: mashed ginger, fermented red beancurd, special chili sauce, marinated sliced gingers and peanut sauce.

The only problem was that the table was so small, we barely had enough space to put other food after the steamboat pot took up over half the area!

Oh, and there's no service charge or GST at the moment. Nice!
