Authentic Hakka Pounded Tea (Lei Cha) from Kampung Baru Ampang (by an anonymous noodles stall besides a Chinese temple 飛來寺). This traditional Hakka dish contains of a few lightly cooked mixed veges and peanuts, comes with the Lei Cha Soup. Usually eat with white rice, but I prefer without. Love the mixed veges here!

Nice Hakka salad, with cruncy peanuts and pickled veges!

It's a traditional dish that we must preserve (even though I'm not Hakka)! It's not easy to prepare the pounding tea/soup i heard. Authentic traditional dishes are vanishing in this big city, we must show our support! :)
