Bindhu Vegetarian Restaurant is an unfussy, unpretentious restaurant with excellent service and solidly good food. The decor is a bold combination of Indian and Chinese vignettes in Selangor colours. ‘80s pop music in the background (La Isla Bonita, anyone?) added to the cheery vibe. Service is brisk, friendly and warm, and the proprietor (i think!) brought me extra sambal before i even asked for it. My nasi lemak came with a generous portion of rendang and a good dollop of sambal, which is spicy-umami-sweet the way all good sambal should be.
