I Will Survive... Thanksgiving
Thursday, 26 November is the day on which Americans celebrate Thanksgiving, and at the centre of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner is a roast turkey. Here's some 'food' for thought – if we were properly thankful for life and all the wondrous creatures with whom we share it, should we really be eating them?
Well, here is one turkey with an attitude! She's channeling Gloria Gaynor and singing her heart out to get the message across. This is no jive turkey. Whether or not you celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, turkeys and all other farmed animals would be thankful if you'd resolve to eat fewer of them.
