i've taken hakka lei cha before [it's the traditional type, where they put "ku lek sim" tea leaves into the soup, and there are sediments of groundnuts].

this hakka lei cha i had is nice and tasty. the veges, they use boiled water to cook it, not like those conventional type by adding some oil and then fry it.

the taste of the soup is totally different from what i had before.

the drink, it's not from a can or bottle. they actually make it by adding some soya bean powder and pouring in hot water into it.

Joey, it's a kind of herb, taste bitter. usually old folks people will mix it with other ingredients like groundnuts, mint, salt, cooking oil, basil etc, before pouring in hot water to make the soup.
