Ulam - is basically Malay style of eating raw salad dipped with (usually) spicy sauce made of chili padi, garlic, lime juice or even ginger & other herbs. The spicier the better!

Most people complained that you can hardly eat healthy at food court or outside. But if you visit any Malay stalls & don't prefer the usual fried or santan (coconut milk) food, just select some fresh raw veges by the side & drizzle with your own spicy sauce or even black soy sauce (salty or sweet type).

Picture here, is a big tray of ulam; had it during buka puasa with during Yeo's charity event. Yeo's is another F&B company that sells really good black and white soya milk with less sugar.
