Grape Leaves Stuffed With Goat Cheese & Figs

Secret Ingredients
  • 3 ounces fresh figs
  • 3 ounces heavy cream or 3 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 4 ounces herbed goat cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 ounce raisins
  • 2 ounces pine nuts, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • 25 rinsed and stem removed grape leaves
  1. Puree figs with cream or [cream cheese with a little milk] in food processor.
  2. Transfer to a mixing bowl and whisk in egg and cheese.
  3. Fold in raisins, pine nuts and cheese.
  4. Wrap a tablespoon of filling in grape leaves.
  5. Place in 350 degree oven on a lightly oiled pan and bake until warm, about 15 minutes.
