Went for my first ten day Vipassana Meditation Course at Gambang, Kuantan.

This is the breakfast for the final day, so lesser ingredients. Doesn't have the plain yogurt that I normal took every breakfast with my fruits.

In regular days, we had really nice and healthy vegetarian breakfast and lunch, including 2 mains, salads, 2 fruits, plain yogurt, toasts/biscuits, 1 soup or 1 drink. Brown rice is provided every lunch, and there's alternative pandan rice, blue flower rice, pumpkin rice, pineapple rice or spices rice (on second last day). The drinks include herbal tea, lemongrass water, ginger water, full cream milk, milo, coffee, tea bag, occasionally it's red/green bean tong shui.

Afternoon 5pm, old students can only have lemon water, and we as new students, are allowed to have fruits and tea.

I quite like my room there, my very first private own room and bathroom in my life. There're few pets living in it with me, so I don't feel lonely at all even though I have no access to my hp and I can't talk because of the noble silence. I have a 3-4cm Spiderman that scared of me, a really cute tiny Spiderman with 2 yellow dots on it, a big fat Cicakman living on the ceiling fan cover making evil laugh every night, and poo besides my bed everyday and once pee on my pillow cover, others are just some vampire mossies and bugs.

At the compound, one can easily spotted birds, squirrels, wild lizard etc. I once saw a hornbill flying and landing on a tree in the compound, and I've also seen a two tails wild lizard. My friends even seen snakes!

We have very interesting life there other than just meditate. Highly recommended to everyone 😎🙏

Looks like a very nice and peaceful retreat, and so many types of rice to choose from too! And you have so many Superheroes guarding you hahaha.... they must be very happy to have a roommate chat with them, too quiet and lonely there.

So nice, can live in nature with so many animal friends! Are there any dogs or cats around the area?

There's a male dog that always came to pee at the drying clothes pole. Then he'll pass by our block and walk away happily. I think I heard cat meowing, but didn't see it.

Hahha happy-go-lucky fella whose daily challenge is to pee on all the poles. Living a good life around there!

Yes, I think he feels very happy, can roam freely in a female hostel, while other males can't lol.
