When I scroll through my Instagram I saw a dalgona coffee ☕️ with matcha 🍵 whipped cream so I made this ✨It’s the same recipe like the one I made the other day with @homecook_shan except I added matcha whipped cream this time😚
How to make:
Whipped coffee: Combine 2 tbsp instant coffee powder, 2 tbsp organic cane sugar and 2 tbsp hot water, whip for 2 minutes until achieve soft peak.
Whipped matcha cream: Combine 2 tbsp soy origin heavy cream and 1 tsp matcha powder, whip for 2-3 minutes until achieve soft peak.
1. Transfer coffee cream and match cream into a piping bag.
2. In a glass, add ice, fill Soymilk until 80% full.
3. Pipe the cream in a circular motion into the glass on top of the Soymilk.
4. Optional: Sprinkle some cacao nibs for crunch.
The outcome wasn’t as good as I have imagined but it was a fun experiment ! My piping skill has to be improved 😆 Whipped cream and cold coffee is a nice combination but the matcha powder that I used is not very good. Can’t wait to get some good quality matcha and try this recipe again after MCO😍
