Another dim sum recipe I unlocked - Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun 港式猪肠粉 aka steamed rice noodle roll.
Cheong fun is a thin roll made from rice flour, traditionally filled with shrimp, char siu and vegetables. You may find lots of different versions.
I veganised it by changing the filling only because the rice roll itself is already vegan by default. I used my chee cheong fun recipe (check it out on my YT channel, link in bio) and added some mushrooms, carrot and spring onion before I roll them. Finally, drizzled some savoury sauce all over and sprinkled some crispy fried shallots on top. Ta-da, you have your vegan dim sum is ready to serve! 😋
