Decided to pair my vegan coconut cheese with a sous vide pear for dessert!
Since I live in Malaysia where coconut trees are abundant, I wanted to make use of local ingredients to make cheese. Also, some of my friends are allergic to cashews and macadamias so coconut would be a great alternative for a non-dairy, vegan cheese.
I decided to serve this coconut cheese with my sous vide pear for dessert, together with spiced pecans. Really delightful and surprising!
