Raw Vegan Mooncakes by #RawChefYin.
Mid-Autumn Festival is just over a month away which means I should start making mooncakes now. My versions are raw vegan and I'll be conducting classes on it in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur and Ubud & Canggu for the @baliveganfestival.
This morning I decided to make these!
The crust is from almond flour, the filling is white sesame seeds and the "yolk" is actually a salted caramel sauce made from macadamias, cashews and @gulamelts coconut nectar.
There was also one which had a chocolate "yolk" filled with goji berries, moringa & spirulina powder from @organiculesuperfoods!
I'm looking forward to create new, exciting, surprising types that is unusual because raw vegan never has to be boring.
