Green Tea Brownies (raw vegan) - adapted the No-bake Matcha Brownies recipe by @shisodelicious from her Bento Power book.

I wanted to bring some raw vegan snacks along to our FRIM outing with the wonderful @viaworldschooling family and thought I'd try out this recipe by Sara. Made a few tweaks here and there...

I replaced the oats with sunflower seeds as I wanted to keep it gluten-free and I didn't have gluten-free oats with me. My sweetener was the Masarang Arenga Forest Sugar instead of brown rice syrup and since I didn't have any more matcha powder with me, I used green tea powder instead. I also added @organiculesuperfoods moringa and spirulina powder for the green swirls (for 15% discount off Organicule Superfoods, use my code ➡️➡️CHEFYIN). Also instead of vegan white chocolate, I just used cacao butter.

The results were amazing. Ehm, so I didn't manage to cut them nicely and the coating cracked maybe coz I used cacao butter instead of vegan white chocolate but it does look really artsy, don't you think❔

And the taste was out of this world! I really like the idea of having miso paste in my desserts and you'll be sure to see me experimenting more with it for desserts. I use miso in loads of my savoury food but never thought of incorporating them into desserts! Thank you Sara for the inspo🙌🙂😀 Am glad I made double the portions so that we had enough for 6 kids and 4 adults last Thursday.
