TEMPEH BEETROOT MINI BURGERS (vegan, mostly raw)
Looking for an interesting vegan burger? How about one made with tempeh + red beet? 🍔
The other day on IG Live someone asked me if I could teach how to make burgers but I’m not really a burger person.
However, I saw my good friend in London @ethivegan (chef, author, speaker and lawyer) just posted up a gorgeous photo of his Beetroot Haricot Bean Burgers and I thought, hey, I can do something similar with tempeh!
So I made them yesterday and then I had 2 mini burgers left today and I figured they would be perfect with the mangoes that came in my Tesco delivery.
Just in case you missed the recipe for the burgers, here it is again.
Tempeh Beetroot Burger INGREDIENTS:
2tbs flaxseed, ground
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp fennel seeds
½ tsp salt
2 cloves of garlic
½ inch ginger
½ lemon, juice
Zest of 1 lemon
2 dates, pitted
And this time I teamed the burgers with:

~ red cabbage sauerkraut [did you attend my free online fermentation class on how to make this? The video is now up on my YouTube channel]
~ @organiculesuperfoods hemp hearts
~ cili padi 🌶️
~ coconut bacon ➡️I just showed how to make this on my free Zoom cooking class this morning
