Can you really make TEMPEH without DEHULLING?🤔
Yes, you can. You just need to know what beans/seeds/nuts to use so you don’t need to dehull. Which means you don’t need to remove the skins from the beans.
The tempeh in these pictures are made from organic black beans (green kernel inside).
I didn’t have to remove the skins and yet they formed beautifully.
My students have also successfully made their tempeh without having to dehull. 💯
