Healthy Coconut Ladoo by Raw Chef Yin
I made this version on Diwali morning because I was craving for them and wanted a healthy version! Hereโs the recipe for you ๐
INGREDIENTS 1 cup freshly grated coconut 2 tablespoons coconut nectar from @gulamelts 2 tablespoons cocoa butter, melted from @bennsethicoa.my 1 teaspoon maca powder from @organicule โ
teaspoon French sea salt from @loveearthorganic โ
teaspoon turmeric powder from @organicule 1 teaspoon peanut @podiicom Cashew nuts from @loveearthorganic 1 teaspoon beetroot powder from @organicule ยผ teaspoon Sonnentor Flower Powder Blossom Blend from @whynot.organic Edible gold leaf (optional)
METHOD ๐For The Ladoo Base๐ Place coconut, maca powder, coconut nectar, cocoa butter and salt into a mixing bowl and mix till well-combined. Divide into 2 equal portions.
๐For Turmeric Ladoo๐ Add turmeric and peanut podii into one ladoo mixture portion and mix till well-combined and yellow colour is even. Using gloved hands, shape into balls. Press in cashew nut on top of ladoo. Place in freezer till firm. Store in fridge and serve chilled.
๐For Beetroot Ladoo๐ Add beetroot powder and flower blend into second ladoo mixture portion and mix till well-combined. Using gloved hands, shape into balls. Decorate with edible silver leaf if preferred. Place in freezer till firm.
Store in fridge and serve chilled.
