American Heart Association Sued For Heart-healthy Labels On Meat | The Beet

Heart disease is the top cause of death both in the U.S. and worldwide. This year alone nearly 700,000 Americans are projected to die for reasons directly related to heart disease.

Despite evidence that regularly consuming red meat elevates one's lifetime risk of heart disease, the American Heart Association (AHA) has allowed the sellers of lean red meat to add "Heart-Check" labels to the packaging. Now we're suing the AHA. Read more from The Beet:
