Animal Equality Wins Campaign Against Compass Group
No matter how big or how small a company is...Animal Equality will take them on if it means improving the lives of farmed animals. 💪💙
Recently, we took on the world's largest food service provider, Compass Group. The company promised to end gestation crates for mother pigs in 2012, but never fulfilled its commitment. With the help of supporters, we launched a campaign this past July--demanding the company keep its promise to mother pigs, who can't turn around or nurture their babies in these crates. 🐷 You helped send thousands of emails to Compass and its clients. And you even showed up alongside us for a protest in Austin, Texas outside of Bank of America--a client of Compass.
Because of this determination, we won one of the strongest animal welfare policies in the food sector made by Compass Group. 🙌 🎉
