Meet Harry🐑, an animal ambassador for this year's #VegWeek2023🌱 from Veganville Animal Sanctuary.
Harry was a young lamb born on a local sheep farm in 2020. A lot of times, female sheep are bred too young and Harry was unfortunately rejected by his mother. He was found in the pasture alone, cold and hungry by the farmer's young son. On top of that, he was blind and deaf.
Veganville agreed to take Harry and tried their best to get him healthy. Within a few weeks, Harry was able to see and hear again! The farm from which Harry came from dehorned poorly him at a very young age which may have caused some brain damage that affects his behavior with the caretakers. Harry is extremely brave, independent and resilient and we're glad he ended up at Veganville where he is seen as a person with special needs and not a commodity.
