Anyone in doubt about whether animals feel love should check this out – a fully grown lioness Kiara reunited with her ‘first adopted dad’, Adolfo.
As soon as he calls her name she recognized him and excitedly jumps on him, hugging him around the waist, nuzzling and playing.
Such a majestic and powerful animal could have easily hurt him (or treated him as food), but instead chose to play with her old friend like a little puppy. Adolfo is obviously enjoying himself too in the play-fights. Kiara now lives happily at The Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation in Mexico.
