As pet lovers, we are absolutely appalled by China's Yulin Dog Meat festival that glorifies the killing of innocent dogs which many of us dearly regard as loyal best friends.

However, let us not forget that farm animals, which are equally sentient and intelligent, are suffering similar fate of abuse and slaughter at a much wider scale globally, every single day. It is often a person's culture that draws the fine border between PET and FOOD.

Let us be more compassionate towards all animals, and reducing meat consumption is an excellent way to do so. « Back To Articles
