Baobab powder is made out of the fruit of the Baobab tree from Africa, and is a new ingredient I’m learning to incorporate into my meals and smoothies. It’s packed with Vitamin C, so if you’re looking to boost your immunity naturally during the new normal, this superfood is a fantastic option.
Baobab powder has a tart, citrusy taste, so I figured it might work as a ‘vinegar’ ingredient in sweet potato sushi. I mashed two steamed unpeeled large sweet potatoes with 1 tbsp brown rice vinegar and 2 tbsp @organicule baobab powder. Got out my little bamboo mat and got rolling. So glad it worked out, and boy was this filling!
