Secret Ingredients
  • 1 double crust pie crust
  • 2 red apples
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Cinnamon
  1. Roll out bottom crust into pie dish.
  2. Peel, and cut apples into fine slices. (I use a cheese grater to get them perfect).
  3. Mix apple slices and sugar.
  4. Place apple mixture into pie crust.
  5. Cut the butter into three 1 tbsp slices and distribute in pie.
  6. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon.
  7. Add top pie crust.
  8. Cut four or more slits in top.
  9. Bake @ 400° for 50 minutes.
