40号茨廠街金莲记猪肠粉。A hidden treasure in Petaling Street, it's hidden behind some stalls, you might miss it if you don't pay attention. If you haven't tried the most natural sweet sauce (it should be red, not brown btw), come here. No other add-on ingredients needed, the sauce says it all.

Oh yes! I had this some time ago, and it was delicious! The 'real' sweet sauce is made with papaya, that's why it's red.

It's my first time tasting this natural sweet sauce :) I thought it's made from bean?

Yes, papaya. I was told by those vendors from Ipoh, where it originated. There used to be a CCF stall at SS2 Wai Sek Kai that sells Ipoh CCF (they're from Canning Garden, Ipoh). I learnt from them about the sauce.

Maybe the brown ones are made from beans?
