Beancurd curry rice @ Panettone Café, KL Sentral.

Most of the vegan and vegetarian options at Panettone Café are filling and wholesome without being really unique or exceptional. This particular set meal was satisfying and palatable without being particularly memorable.

What was unforgettable, however, was this:
I was having brunch at Panettone Café when I noticed the 3 young male staff putting currypuffs and Danish pastries in small paper bags. As soon as they spotted a differently-abled, visually impaired or low income individual in the crowd, they would take turns to run up to the person, put a paper bag in their hands, and say "This is for you" before weaving their way back to the café before they could be thanked. I tried asking them about what they were doing, but they got quite self-conscious and shy.

I know where I will be eating again if I am at KL Sentral.
