Impressively, she actually made the noodle 🍜 from scratch. She made the dough with just flour and water, then cut them into strips. The noodle was elastic and chewy, matched with mouth watering sauce, crunchy fried tempeh, fungus and sauté choi sum. So delicious and filling. Am grateful for this very hearty lunch 🍴💕
Talking about noodle, I actually avoided noodles and all “carbs” (rice, bread etc I even avoided some fruits) for a long period of time a few years ago because I thought they can make me fat. I was having a really bad relationship with food - restrictive diet and vicious cycle of binge eating problem. I can’t imagine myself live like that now. I am so thankful that I have found the joy in enjoying food (like noodle) and regained the control over my eating habit.
I am so happy that now I can be appreciative of others when they make me food, instead of being worried or freaked out about the calories or the carbs ✨
