Caramelised Bananas with Pomegranates (raw vegan) by Raw Chef Yin.
So I walked pass the bunch of bananas in my kitchen today and suddenly I had visions of caramelised bananas. Hmmm, I figured my Excalibur dehydrator Malaysia would be able to turn the bananas into that texture so I made it for brunch and then I made it again for tea. Here's the recipe so you can enjoy it too! Feel free to share the love.
3 bananas, sliced into halves
Cacao nibs from Big Tree Farms & Diet Angel Enterprise
Red maca root powder from The Maca Team & Diet Angel
Unsweetened flaked coconut from Bob's Red Mill Malaysia
Masarang Arenga Forest Sugar syrup from Straits Wholefoods & Bonlife Organic
Place banana onto plate. Mix maca powder with syrup. Drizzle on top of bananas. Sprinkle cinnamon powder. Dehydrate in dehydrator for 2 hours at 45 degrees Celsius. Top with cacao nibs, coconut flakes and pomegranate. Serve and enjoy!
