Description
A classic Korean street food made with chewy rice cakes simmered in a spicy, savory gochujang-based sauce. It’s a beloved dish known for its balance of heat, sweetness, and rich flavors, often accompanied by fish cakes and green onions for added depth.


Secret Ingredients
  • All-in-One Gochujang Sauce 80g or Gochujang

  • Corn syrup 50g
  • Rice cakes (tteok) 200g
  • Fish cakes (eomuk) 100g
  • Vegetables (sliced cabbage, julienned 1/4 onion, chopped green onion)
  • Water 200ml
  • Sesame seeds (a pinch)
Directions
  1. **Prepare the ingredients**: Slice the fish cakes, slice the cabbage, julienne the onion, and chop the green onion.
  2. **Boil the sauce**: In a pot, add 200ml of water, 80g of All-in-One Gochujang Sauce, and 50g of corn syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  3. **Cook the rice cakes and ingredients**: Add the rice cakes, fish cakes, and vegetables to the boiling sauce. Cook over medium heat until the rice cakes soften and the sauce thickens.
  4. **Finish**: Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
  5. Enjoy your delicious homemade Original Tteokbokki!
