I held my first (sold out!) public cooking workshop at The Hive- Bulk Foods. I could not have asked for a better group of participants to pop my cherry with! Some hiccups here and there but everyone was so gracious, had heaps of fun and loved the food.
I very rarely divulge in my Peranakan roots, so letting it take centerstage, by sharing the food I grew up on, felt remarkably fulfilling and I feel proud to keep my heritage relevant in my own way.
