Experimenting more with Omnimeat! My mom made the bittergourd and brinjal Yong Tau Foo with Omnimeat fillings, pretty realistic taste and texture! Goes perfectly with the rich homemade bean paste sauce.

The "pork" porridge is simple and nice too, made of the minced meat and preserved cabbage rolled into "meat balls".

There are many YouTube videos showing various recipes to try with this product too, looks like it's pretty well received in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.

Village Grocer sells a 230g pack for RM 19.90, which is good for cooking 1 - 2 dishes. There is a cheaper option, which is to buy the 1kg pack at RM 57.60 from The Meat Expert at Damansara Heights, roughly a 33% discount from the Village Grocer price. The Meat Expert sells on Shopee too, but there's a RM10 shipping fee because it's a frozen product.

Yup, can cook for quite a few times, especially if you just use it as an add-on "minced meat" ingredient! But if you use for yong tau foo then will finish very fast haha.
