I was thrilled to learn (through KindMeal.my, of course) about a vegan sushi restaurant close to my apartment. It opened last Christmas so I can only shake my head in sorrow now thinking of how I had missed having Sushi Kitchen in my life for an entire 10 months. I shall have to make up for my tardiness by dining here more frequently. The ambience is lovely, there’s a calm vibe that ties everything together to give you a pleasant yet elegant casual dining experience. They don’t try too hard to be self-consciously and ostentatiously Japanese. There are books and reading materials and cat paraphernalia, and lots of healthy thriving indoor plants. The service is warm, welcoming and friendly. And most importantly, the food is wholesome, delicious and original.
