- White sugar has different level of sweetness compared to other types of sugar. Healthier sugar like cane sugar is less sweet in comparison, so please adjustment according. You can also use malt rice syrup or agave syrup to increase the sweetness.
- Feel free to experiment this recipe with other vegan alternative like tempeh and mock meat instead of tofu. I tested tempeh and mushrooms but personally find tofu taste the best.
- Red colouring is optional for better presentation. I used @organicule beetroot powder (save 10% with GOODLIFE10 promo code) for this recipe. You may use red yeast powder/ red food colouring.
