🏝️Vegan Food Adventures with Raw Chef Yin featuring Melior Cafe, Langkawi🏝️

We needed to get more fresh fruits and vegetables so headed over to Billion Supermarket in Kuah. Since we were there, decided to check out Melior Cafe for lunch. They are a vegetarian restaurant serving vegetarian and vegan food. Vegan dishes are not clearly labelled though so you need to check to ensure it’s vegan.

Chickpeas, broccoli, corns, purple
cabbage, tofu, tempe, cucumber
and brown rice, served with Ginger Miso dressing.

✅Black Vinegar & Ginger Clay Pot
Few types of mushrooms, bean curds,
fungus slow-braised in black
vinegar and ginger, served with brown rice.

✅Pesto Rice
Brown rice, blanched spinach,
cabbage, cucumber, tofu, tempe,
green beans, preserved radish,
crunchy toasted peanuts, sesame
and topped with green-hued tea-soup.

We enjoyed the lunch especially since we’ve been eating a lot more Western food or just salads.
And to the raw food police, I had raw vegan for both breakfast and dinner so please allow me to have some cooked food for lunch since there are zero raw vegan restaurants here on this island!
