Ssssssscream for SANGKAYA!!!

Yes. Sangkaya is #madeinmalaysia by #malaysian
Although the concept is similar to Thailand coconut ice cream but it's sprinkled with our local Malaysian love.

For EM7.90:- I opted for the SIGNATURE which consists of 4 scoops of coconut ice cream love in a unique fresh coconut bowl, free toppings (& you can always grab for more unlimited free toppings as much as you like) , once you're done with the ice cream, you can scrap off the young coconut flesh from the base of the bowl. Delicious, savoury & filling.

I had this for brunch, went for the bazaar & off to work & did not feel hungry till night falls.

They are generous in giving samples to try & you can opt for less;
the MINI CONE costs RM1.90 for 1 scoop;
the CUP at RM4.90 for 3 scoops & 1 topping on a cup :) Yup.

Sangkaya has since then branched out & check out their FB ID page: Sangkaya

I had mine while chilling out the School, Jaya One.. coz. I'm cool :P

This sounds interesting! Didn't know there's such interesting ice cream place at Jaya One! My friend bought me coconut ice cream when I was at Penang, that's the first time I tried coconut ice cream ☺

Haha.. I practically stalked them, then found out, their stall/truck only operates on Sundays from morning till 3pm. Other days, at Jalan Alor & a real brick & mortar shop at Ampang.They started out operating in pasar malam. Their story is like a nice fairytale for all kickstart Malaysian entrepreneurs.
If I visit Penang again, my friends sure bring me eat chow kuih tao, laksa, ABC & everything they love. *highlight they love*; but I do love their rojak & nasi goreng kampung. Funny thing was I always request for Thai. food over there. The taste sure lain dari lain. Maybe coz. many Siamese there :)
